“GRAFFIDAVIT CLEANING (TAGS) AND SOUND BLOCK REPAIR ON KIFISSOS AVENUE” THS “ATTICA REGION”
In the context of upgrading the urban landscape and improving the quality of life, VIOLIAP implemented a comprehensive cleaning and restoration program along the side streets of Kifissos Avenue. The project aimed to radically transform the image and functionality of this central road, which, due to intense daily use, had suffered significant degradation from alterations, negligence and the accumulation of pollutants. Our strategy was based on a multidimensional approach, addressing every type of problem with specialized methods and appropriate equipment.
The program began with the intensive removal of graffiti from walls and structural elements, using special non-destructive cleaning techniques that respect the substrate. This was followed by a massive removal of posters and unauthorized pasting from poles, bus stops and public facilities, restoring their original appearance. At the same time, extensive cleaning of the green area was carried out, with pruning of trees and shrubs, removal of dry vegetation and removal of garbage.

The approach
Για τους πεζοδρόμους και τις χώρους προσέγγισης, εφαρμόστηκε πίεση νερού υψηλής πίεσης σε συνδυασμό με μηχανική τριβή για την απομάκρυνση των επίμονων λεκέδων, της μαστίχας και των οργανικών υπολειμμάτων. Επιπλέον, πραγματοποιήθηκε συστηματικός καθαρισμός και ξεβούλωμα των ομβρίων συλλεκτών, διασφαλίζοντας τη σωστή αποστράγγιση του νερού και αποτρέποντας το σχηματισμό λακκούβων. Το έργο ολοκληρώθηκε με την πλήρη συλλογή και ανακύκλωση όλων των απορριμμάτων που συνελέγησαν. This thorough intervention not only dramatically upgraded the image of Kifissos Avenue, but also enhanced pedestrian safety, promoted environmental awareness and contributed decisively to the regeneration of the urban space as a destination of cleanliness and order.
